JUNAGADH STATE MUSLIM FEDERATION

INTRODUCTION

Before partition of Sub-Continent and establishment of Pakistan, a large number of Junagadhi (Gujrati, Machiyara, Memon, Kathiawari, Sindhi, Baloch, Turk, Arab, Pathan, Ghanchi) dissidents settled in Pakistan. They were engaged in Agriculture, Trade and Services. They extended valuable services in great Muslim States of that time namely Junagadh State.

These Junagadhi people following the same path, which they adopted in Junagadh State, have been rendering services with best of their ability in various fields of economy for the development and prosperity of Pakistan. We would like to mention here that various problems of other refugees have already been resolved because of their unity and disciplined struggle whereas, Junagadhi community due to lack of these essential characteristics is still scattered and facing all sorts of problems.

We are all aware that “No community on earth can achieve respectable position in any society if it remains scattered.

In view of the foregoing and to provide a stronger platform to the community, we have established a Non-Governmental, non-sectarian and non-political social welfare organization under the title “Junagadh State Muslim Federation”.
